Meet the team

After decades in the fast-paced and stressful environment of the consulting company she ran, Mirjana decided to dedicate her professional life to caring for dogs. She completed several international and Croatian training programmes focused on managing groups of dogs. As a long-time volunteer with the Indigo association, she helped dogs without families through walks and temporary foster care. Today, she is responsible for the overall management of the hotel and daycare — including both people and dogs.

Vedrana Dorogi has worked and lived with dogs for 28 years. She has led group and individual obedience training, worked one-on-one with dogs with behavioural issues, and cared for groups of up to 30 dogs in several daycare facilities. Vedrana believes that the dogs she teaches are also her teachers. Regardless of breed, experience or trauma, every dog is an individual and should be approached that way. Today at Pasinsky, she is responsible for dog assessment and training, forming groups and designing activities for our daycare and hotel guests.

Dogs have been part of Darko’s life for decades, although his professional career was previously dedicated to other fields. He has completed a range of international courses in dog care and training and holds a licence for dog breeding and care. Today at Pasinsky, he leads dog groups and is responsible for their wellbeing and safety. He also manages infrastructure and maintenance at our Lukavec and Pasinsky City facilities.

For many years, Lena privately cared for and walked dogs in Novi Zagreb. In recent years she has been especially devoted to her American Bulldogs. She completed international training in managing groups of dogs and holds a licence for dog breeding and care. Today at Pasinsky, she leads dog groups and is responsible for their wellbeing and safety. She is also responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleaning and disinfection procedures across Pasinsky.

After completing a degree in physiotherapy, Ana began postgraduate studies in clinical animal behaviour. She has been surrounded by dogs throughout her life — both her own and dogs from shelters in temporary foster care. Over the years, she has completed advanced obedience courses with her dogs and attended various Croatian and international dog-training programmes. Today at Pasinsky, she leads dog groups and is responsible for their wellbeing and safety. She is also the main “hairdresser” of our pack.

A landscape architect by education and a long-time manager in tourism, Zorana has now devoted her career to a lifelong passion: dogs. She has experience leading and working in dog daycare centres, professional dog walking and dog training, and has also volunteered for years as a foster carer. She has completed numerous dog-training programmes as well as dog-grooming courses. Today at Pasinsky, she leads dog groups and is responsible for their wellbeing and safety. She is also one of the “hairdressers” of our pack.

Dražen has dedicated more than 20 years to working with animals as a veterinary technician. His experience ranges from caring for hospitalised animals and administering therapies to assisting during examinations and communicating with owners. Today, Dražen brings that knowledge and experience to our hotel and daycare guests. Alongside veterinary care, he leads dog groups and is responsible for their wellbeing and safety.

Dinko spent his entire career in the financial industry, mostly in senior leadership roles. Within our team, he focuses on strategy, business development and financial management. We also occasionally call on him as a professional photographer and marketing expert.
